Kiewit-Alaire, A Partnership - Lower Mattagami River Project

  • Provided commissioning services for various portions of the AC and DC distribution on two (2) 10MW solar projects and one (1) 5MW solar project​
  • Performed testing and commissioning on all the site medium voltage pad mount distribution transformers
  • Performed testing and verification of all the AC and DC distribution cables including medium voltage cable very low frequency high potential testing
  • Performed a site wide infrared scan on all the DC and AC equipment for all three (3) sites

Winnipeg Health Science Center

  • Provided  commissioning services for three (3) 230kV hydro dam extension projects 
  • Performed testing and commissioning on the 230kV switching station electrical equipment including capacitive voltage transformers, current transformers, vacuum disconnect switches, and lightning arrestors
  • Performed testing and commissioning on the station service switchgear, generator step-up and station service transformers, metering and protection instrument transformers, generator circuit breakers, and applicable control circuitry
  • Performed acceptance testing on the station service 1300Ah DC battery banks as per IEEE Std. 450
  • Provided offline partial discharge testing on the generator isolated phase bus and the station service switchgear



Goldcorp Inc. - Red Lake Gold Mines

  • Implemented a zone selective interlocking (ZSI) scheme using high speed 61850 GOOOSE messaging for coordination between three (3) multiple feeder buses
  • Programmed multiple network switches and setup a virtual local area network (VLAN) to ensure communication between the relays on each respective remote bus
  • Programmed and tested all the protective relays to ensure proper operation of the ZSI scheme and the relay protective elements
  • Provided complete commissioning and start-up services for the New Gold Rainy River Gold Mine 230kV switching station, main substation, and site wide electrical distribution.
  • Performed testing and commissioning on all the 230kV electrical equipment including four (4) SF6 circuit breakers, two (2) 230kV - 13.8kV power transformers, six (6) capacitive voltage transformers, one (1) SF6 station service transformer, fifteen (15) 230kV lightning arrestors, and all associated bus sections
  • Performed testing and commissioning on the main 13.8kV substation  and site wide medium voltage substation switchgear
  • Performed point to point verification of all the DC control circuitry and AC instrument transformer secondary circuits
  • Performed testing and commissioning on all the protection and control devices throughout the site including but not limited to the following devices: SEL-311Ls, SEL-751s, SEL-2407s, SEL-3530s, GE-ML300s, GE-L90s, GE-T60s, GE-B30s, GE-850s, TAPCON 240s, and Startco SE-330s
  • Provided setup, testing, and verification of all remote communication channels
  • Performed testing of the line differential protection from the switching station to the main substation via two satellite linked relay test sets
  • Provided testing and verification of all the IESO telemetry points including final end-end testing with the IESO control room
  • Provided testing and verification of the Bell leased line with Hydro One and the associated ABB NSD teleprotection trip signals
  • Provided site wide very low frequency high potential testing on all the medium voltage cables

  • Performed initial gas filling of six (6) Mitsubishi HV SF6 circuit breakers along with full electrical testing

  • Performed testing and commissioning on all the protection and control devices
  • Provided setup, testing, and verification of the SCADA system and the D20 RTU
  • Provided testing and verification of all the IESO telemetry points including final end-end testing with the IESO control room
